The San Diego Chargers released quarterback Nathan Enderle and nine other players, geting down to 80 players. They have five more players to cut to get down to the NFL roster limit of 75 players. The Chargers also cut running back Edwin Baker, center Colin Baxter, cornerback Greg Brown, safety Tony Burnett, wide receiver Deon Butler, guard Brandyn Dombrowski, punter Richard Kent, defensive lineman Jamarcus McFarland and tight end Dallas Walker. "In the next couple days we are getting down to 75 and then the 53-man roster, so we are going to map out a plan for every player that is still here on our football team to see what spots are still up in the air," coach Mike McCarthy said. "We’re going to see what player can help in a certain situation.†Source: National Football Post
