Chargers kicker Nate Kaeding left Sunday's game with the Minnesota Vikings in the first quarter with a left leg injury. According to Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network, original tests reveal a likely torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. Kaeding will undergo an MRI on Monday. Kaeding has been good on 86.5 percent of 200 field goal attempts for the Chargers over the last seven seasons, earning trips to the Pro Bowl following the 2006 and 2009 seasons. The injury occurred on the season's opening kick, which Vikings wide receiver/return specialist Percy Harvin returned for a touchdown. Source: Mac's Football Blog
I had him in my CBS Sports league........may have to wait to see who they'll sign as his replacement. Paging Jeff Reed.........lol
Got hurt in the 1st play of the game (kickoff returned for a TD) even though he completely whiffed on his tackle attempt. Last year we brought in Kris Brown so I wouldn't be surprised if they brought him back.
