It was an easy call for the AFC defensive player of the week. How could it be anyone other than Shaun Phillips? The San Diego Chargers’ outside linebacker was dominant in a 41-10 win over Arizona on Sunday. Phillips had four of San Diego’s nine sacks. On the play after his second sack, Phillips intercepted Arizona quarterback Derek Anderson while in coverage and returned the pass 31 yards for a touchdown to give San Diego a 28-7 lead in the second quarter.
