Left guard Chad Rinehart suffered turf toe in the second quarter during the team's third offensive series, and left tackle King Dunlap got a concussion in the fourth quarter. Neither returned in a 20-17 loss to the Titans. Rich Ohrnberger replaced Rinehart in a straight substitution. When Dunlap exited, the Chargers had to reshuffle most of their offensive line, as right tackle Michael Harris moved to left tackle, right guard Jeromey Clary moved to right tackle, Ohrnberger moved from left guard to right guard, and Johnnie Troutman made his NFL debut at left guard.
