Chris Jenkins of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports that quarterback Philip Rivers is playing with some discomfort in his sternum. Rivers took an illegal hit to the chest in Week 2 against the Patriots and seemed to be in pain at times during last week's ugly win over the Chiefs. It may have contributed in some minor fashion to his rare zero-touchdown, two-interception day. Still, Rivers has started 84 straight games and is not in danger of missing any time here.
