Chargers head coach Norv Turner said Friday that WR Josh Reed will compete with former first round pick Craig "Buster" Davis for reps behind starters Vincent Jackson and Malcom Floyd. "That's exciting to me, No. 1 for him to be available, and No. 2 for him to want to be here," Turner said of Reed. "He and (Davis) are similar." Reed, a second-round draft pick out of LSU in 2002, has 311 career catches for 3,575 yards and 10 touchdowns in eight seasons with the Bills. Davis is finally feeling healthy after dealing with nagging injuries early on in his career. "This is the best I’ve ever felt, especially my body," said Davis, who's been an oft-injured bust to this point. "I'm still young, I have a bright future."
