The Chiefs activated rookie defensive back Sanders Commings from the short-term injured reserve list, the club announced on Tuesday. Commings, a fifth-round selection in the 2013 NFL draft, was placed on the injured reserve-designated to return list before the season started. Source: National Football Post SteveRobWhatever's Take: Commings broke his collarbone on his first day of training camp. To make room on the roster the team released safety Bradley McDougald. Commings will be used all over the field, which is one of the reasons the Chiefs drafted him. He's a big-bodied corner in the mold of Brandon Browner.
