Chiefs interim coach Romeo Crennel said Thursday that he has spoken with quarterback Kyle Orton about muffling his potential enthusiasm — and a possible pursuit of revenge — when the Chiefs play Sunday in Denver against the Broncos, who cut Orton earlier this season. “That’s human nature. You want it. You’re playing the team that let you go,†Crennel said. “You want to prove to them that maybe they didn’t make the right choice. If you can go beat them, you can say, ‘Hey, look at me.’ †Still, Crennel said he doesn’t want Orton to view Sunday’s regular-season finale as a one-man show, Orton versus the Broncos. “I think Kyle understands that it takes a team, and he knows that his teammates have to help him. He can’t do it by himself,†Crennel said. “The other thing that human can do is, guys will try to do it by themselves sometimes and will try too hard.†Source: Kansas City Star
He may try to do too much too fast early on but he should settle down. But it could be too late..Tebow may have done God's work at that point...
You think God took the Broncos at the beginning of the season for the Super Bowl. Wonder what the oddsmakers had them at that time. He may make enough money to retire and let JC take over for him.
