    The Kansas City Chiefs cut linebacker Michael Johnson today, the team announced. Johnson started 44 games at North Alabama. He recorded 365 tackles as well as 8 1/2 sacks, five interceptions, four fumble recoveries, six forced fumbles and nine pass deflections. The 6-foot, 254-pounder was signed as an undrafted rookie free agent by the Chiefs this spring.
