The Chiefs have given DE Tyson Jackson every opportunity to be an impact player in the three years since he was the third pick in the 2009 draft, with 18 starts over that span. However, Jackson's production never has lived up to his draft status, as he has recorded one sack in his NFL career and has struggled to defend the run. Expect Jackson's current opportunity to be his final one. We hear the team is ready to give the DLE job to Wallace Gilberry, who plays harder on a more consistent basis and is a better pass rusher than Jackson, who still has two years and more than $8 million remaining on his rookie contract. Gilberry, a fourth-year player who entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2008, ranked second on the team in sacks in 2010 with seven.

Ouch, I remember that draft I also remember not even really knowing who Tyson Jackson was. Swing and a miss!!! It's ok, my team has done it a lot also.

Yeah, he's a failure. I'd just give the spot to Gilberry and see what happens.
