Brad Childress was in Kansas City today to meet with new Chiefs coach Andy Reid. But a source close to the situation said Childress wasn’t under consideration as offensive coordinator but another job on Reid’s offensive staff. Childress, 56, was on Reid’s staff with the Eagles for seven seasons, three as offensive coordinator, before leaving to become the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings. After being fired by the Vikings in 2010, he spent last season as the offensive coordinator for the Cleveland Browns. Source: Kansas City Star
