Chiefs running back Jackie Battle has been placed on injured reserve with a foot injury, the team announced on Saturday night. With Pro Bowl running back Jamaal Charles on injured reserve since Week 3, Battle has emerged as the Chiefs' leading rushing with 597 yards and two touchdowns. Battle had been ruled "Out" for tomorrow's game against the Denver Broncos and is scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent in the offseason.
