Chiefs QB Brodie Croyle Threatening Matt Cassel For Starting Job?

Kansas City Star reporter Kent Babb is reporting via his Twitter page that Kansas City Chiefs backup quarterback Brodie Croyle has become a real threat to Matt Cassel's starting job. Babb writes, "Remember that stuff about Brodie Croyle firmly being the Chiefs' No. 2 QB? Well, now I'm starting to believe he's threatening Cassel's job."

sure, KC will pay Cassel all that money and then after 1 rainy preseason game his job is in jeopardy...ridiculous...lol

Croyle blows...just the fact that there is a story out there with the idea that Croyle is "challenging" Cassel for the starting job would be unsettling for me if I were a Chiefs fan...

 

It's been widely reported that Cassel has struggled during camp and that Haley isn't a fan of Cassel's arm strength. Croyle has a big arm and definitely outplayed Cassel in the first preseason game but Croyle had the benefit of better wide receivers to throw to and did against the 2nd string defense.

I think there's no way Croyle beats out Cassel though.....I'm growing more concerned about Cassel's ability though.

 

Cassel looked bad in preseason last year, but he will probably take time to adjust to a new system

 

Croyle doesn't blow, he just has a glass vag**a.

I would be shocked if anyone but Cassel starts after the paycheck he received.

Yeah Croyle had all the tools but couldnt stay in the game at all. thats what edwards down fall was.
