Jamaal Charles was named as the AFC offensive player of the week after rushing for 233 yards and catching passes worth 55 more in last week’s win over New Orleans. Charles joined Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown as the only players in NFL history to compile at least 225 rushing yards and 50 receiving yards in the same game. The 233 rushing yards and 288 total yards are the highest single-game totals in the NFL this year. His 91-yard run is the longest rushing touchdown in the league this year.
