The Chiefs have quickly become addicted to RB Jamaal Charles and not just as a runner, even though he spent most of this season as Larry Johnson's backup, Charles is already the Chiefs' leading rusher. He is involved as a pass receiver, even lining up wide on occasion, he is a threat as a kickoff returner, as he showed when he returned one for a touchdown in a recent game against Pittsburgh. All of that comes in a relatively small package, the Chiefs list Charles at 199 pounds, or about 30 pounds less than Johnson and already, Charles is showing the wear and tear as he walks gingerly through the locker room. "Charles is showing the wear and tear as he walks gingerly through the locker room." Whats that supposed to mean?
I doubt that it's true, cause he handled the ball a ton of times in his final year at UT and showed no wear & tear now mind you those were smaller guys but he did see alot of touches... But this piece of neews in general is great, I was almost beginning to think that his chance would never come.
Charles should have gotten a ton of more opportunities from the moment he got there. KC hasn't had a clue how to use Charles, and that's why I was so mad that he went to that team. The guy can be used in all sorts of ways. He's a great pass catcher. He'll probably never be that great runner in between the tackles, but he should be used in the passing game a lot. The guy is a play maker and can make big plays, but he's got to get a lot of touches.
