The Kansas City Chiefs have made their third move of free agency and it's a big one. Wide receiver Chris Chambers has been signed to a three year deal, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The total value of the deal could reach $15 million and there are $5.9 million in guarantees, Schefter reports. Source: ArrowheadPride.com
This is good news for us Chiefs fans. The deal seems reasonable assuming he performs at the level he did last year for us. Now I'll just wait patiently for the Thomas Jones signing announcement.
phew...now we have 2 recievers that can drop the ball inside the endzone. but no.. im happy with the signing
Now, if the O-Line will give Cassell an opportunity to see things from a vertical position instead of a horizontal view, KC's in pretty good shape at WR.
Speaking from experience, unless the contract is full of escalators, Chambers isn't going to play like he did last year. He was playing for a contact last year and now that he has it, his concentration will be shot. He has so much talent but can get so disinterested. I hope for the best KC.
Yeah pretty good...but I think we could use one more...and let's hope all our WR's get rid of the dropsies. :icon_cheesygrin:
