The Kansas City Chiefs announced the release seven players of seven players on Friday. They are: TE Leroy Banks, WR Rich Gunnell, G/C Lemuel Jeanpierre, T/G Ikechuku Ndukwe, CB Mike Richardson, LB John Russell and G Dan Santucci. The only moderate surprise on this list is the reserve offensive lineman Ikechuku Ndukwe. The Chiefs re-signed Ndukwe this past March. Ndukwe appeared in 12 games for the Chiefs last season.
