    The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Saturday that the club has promoted DT Dion Gales to the 53-man roster from the practice squad. Gales (6-5, 259) originally entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with Kansas City in 2009. He spent the first 12 games of the season on the club's practice squad.
