The Kansas City Chiefs auditioned former Cincinnati Bengals first-round running back Chris Perry this week, according to a league source. He wasn't immediately signed, although the Chiefs could probably use some depth at running back after cutting Larry Johnson. Perry, who was playing for the United Football League's Florida Tuskers, was drafted 26th overall by Cincinnati in the 2004 NFL draft after playing at Michigan and was cut by the Bengals in April. The Chiefs have an open roster spot after placing DB Maurice Leggett on injured reserve. Source: National Football Post
