University of Cincinnati wide receiver Mardy Gilyard is scheduled to visit the Washington Redskins on Monday, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation. Given that the Redskins currently lack a second-round draft pick following their trade for quarterback Donovan McNabb and that round is where Gilyard is projected to be selected, this latest visit is interesting to say the least. The Redskins have placed defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth on the trading block and could attempt to stockpile some draft picks by moving him before or on draft day.
