But if he's as immobile against the Vikings as he was against the Browns he won't be much help. **********Automerged Doublepost********** Another update on Troy http://www.nfl.com/videos/pittsburgh-steelers/09000d5d8139119d/Tomlin-on-Polamalu
I thought Troy only performed at about 85% against the Browns but just his presence lifted the entire team. We need him against Minn, like take away Petersen and there offence doesn't look so daunting... Troy would create doubt even if his immobility isn't up to scratch.
You can't take away Peterson without Aaron Smith on that line, you can just try to contain him as much as possible. We need to outscore the Vikings, stopping them will be difficult.
Smith is a big loss but we need some respectable Coverage as well- enter Troy and his Interceptions! hahahaha Our offence going well but as you said crowned- stopping them will be difficult .
Good thing going against the Vikings Defense is that Ben will be attacking the "weak" part of that D. If they can score via the pass and get a little production on the ground, they may be alright. I feel like Peterson will get his yards, but I feel like he won't kill them...
I have a feeling that without Smith, they are going to be looking to run to that side. But remember this is Brett Favre. He is all about him and stats and throwing.
Winning Int TD's, great to see the Steel Curtain taking effect... I've said it before already but Troy's presence has lifted the Steelers D. Not bad for 6 tackles and still not 100%.
