I don't know much about college football, but the approach they're taking is wrong. Next year the playoff field will be expanded to 12...and you will still argue about who was the best 8-4 team that deserved that 12th spot. At some point, you have to stop. The way things are going, you'll end up with a march madness-like tournament that will take 8 months from january to august and no rest, since the next season starts right away XD.
