Colorado Signs Paul Stastny To Five-Year Extension

    The Colorado Avalanche signed 22-year-old center Paul Stastny to a five-year contract extension through the 2013-2014 season. Stastny, whose father, Peter, is a member of the hockey Hall of Fame and the second-leading scorer in Avalanche/Nordiques history, has registered 164 points in 164 NHL games.
