    Stinger75 It's Showtime, Folks!

Colts Rookie CB Jerraud Powers, the third-round draft pick's first regular-season appearance could come as a starter. CB Kelvin Hayden hopes to start, although he conceded "with a hamstring, you just don't know.'' CB Marlin Jackson knows he won't. "I'll just be playing nickel to build the stamina up in my legs, but I'll be out there,'' he said. Therein lies the possible opportunity for Powers to become the first rookie CB to start a season opener for the Colts since Ashley Ambrose in 1992. "I don't know what the plans are,'' Powers said. "There could be a good chance (of starting). . . . It's like closed-door, secret type stuff.'' "I'm pretty sure I'd have a few jitters before the game,'' Powers said, "but to start my NFL career with a start would be a great opportunity, something I won't forget.''
