The Indianapolis Colts announced the re-signing of safety Chip Vaughn. The team ruled out defensive back Bob Sanders this week as he continues to rehabilitate his biceps injury following surgery. Vaughn, who joined the Colts on October 25, was released on Saturday when the Colts elevated rookie wide receiver Chris Brooks off the practice squad. In two games with the Colts, the 6-2, 221-pound Vaughn had a pair of tackles. A roster spot had been cleared for Vaughn's return when Brooks was placed on waivers on Monday.
