Colts cornerback Kelvin Hayden won't play Thursday, completing an injury-plagued preseason that forced him to miss all four games but he is optimistic his recovery from a hamstring injury will be completed in time for him to play in the opener. "I'm very confident I'll be ready on Week 1," he said. Hayden first injured his left hamstring during the opening week of training camp. He returned to the practice field only to reinjure it Aug. 18.
