The loss was an embarrassment and, like so many other Colts games this season, the result of a poor start. For, at least, the fifth time this season, the Colts looked unprepared, unfocused, and simply not ready to face their opponent at kickoff on Sunday. Immediately after the game Pagano stated "I take full responsibility as the head football coach. I did not have this team ready to play." Source: SB Nation markaz's Take: For the head coach and a couple of sports writers to put it all on Coach Pagano is absolute BS. The Colts losing at home to the Rams by 30 points is deplorable, but the players are supposed to be 'professionals' and put forth their best effort every week. That didn't happen.
Well, obviously the players must have been sleepwalking through that game but i never have a problem with the head coach taking the bullet for his players in the media. He can handle things inside the locker room as he needs but he should always take the fall in public.
