Colts Choose Chuck Pagano As Head Coach The abrupt firing of Jim Caldwell has been followed by the abrupt hiring of Chuck Pagano as the Colts' head coach, the team announced Wednesday. Pagano has coached in the NFL with the Ravens, Browns and Raiders, mostly concentrating on the secondary. He was promoted to defensive coordinator for the 2011 season, where he led the third-best defense in the NFL, as the Ravens surrendered just 16.6 points per game. The Ravens' pass defense was exceptional as well, ranking fourth in the league and allowing 196.2 yards per game. Source: Profootball Weekly
