    Stinger75 It's Showtime, Folks!

Earning a roster spot is all about keeping your foot in the door and building a video portfolio. "As long as you're on the field kicking, you're auditioning for here and 31 other teams," said Shane Andrus. "If I don't have that tape, it's a lost year." The Colts brought Andrus, 28, into training camp because veteran Adam Vinatieri would be unavailable after undergoing off-season surgery on his right hip and right knee. They expect Vinatieri to be ready for the Sept. 13 opener, so Andrus more than likely will be released and return to his home in Murray, Ky. "I feel I can kick in this league," Andrus said. "He's done nothing but obviously perform extremely well," coach Jim Caldwell said. "It's not uncommon for guys to have to find the right spots," Vinatieri said. "There's only 32 teams and it's hard to break in unless teams have some issues or injuries. Perseverance is the key. When you get your opportunities to shine, you shine, then you hope for the best."
