Colts quarterback Peyton Manning suffered a neck injury that has prevented him from playing this season, and while recent x-rays showed that he is recovering, he has no idea if he'll ever touch a field again. "It's hard to say (if I'll play again)," Manning said. "I was pleased with the doctor's news last week. Now I kind of start this phase two on Monday and see where it goes." Phase two will be to ramp up his throwing program and see how it goes, but if that fails and he never touches the field again, he says that he'll have nothing to complain about. "I have nothing to complain about. I've had 20 years – since I was 15-years-old -- of incredible health," Manning said. “I hope my recovery heals and makes some kind of progress, there’s no guarantees. I really have it in good perspective. I have two kids that kept great balance for me on this, on what is important. It’s been a learning experience.â€￾

Boy...that was enthusiastic. If there was ever doubt about Indy drafting Luck, all doubts should be put to rest.
