According to the web site Stampedeblue.com, Colts radio announcer Bob Lamey made some critical off-air comments about Peyton Manning during his four interception game against the Cowboys. He said the NFL had 'figured Manning out' and the Colts bench him in favor of Curtis Painter for the the rest of this season. He also said the Colts would finish last in the AFC South, and should spend time in this year's NFL Draft looking for a replacement to Peyton. Lamey's comments were made off air and not broadcasted but played on radio station 1070 The Fan a few days later. According to Phil Richards of the Indianapolis Star, Lamey on Tuesday approached Manning in the locker room to apologize, he appeared to accept.

    SoDev Don't tase me, bro!

Because he doesn't want to get fired... good luck with that btw. It will be a coincidence as he gets let go when Peyton gets his new contract.

Man, that's plain stupid even off camera. Sure Peyton does a lot better with a loaded Offense, but injuries took care of that. He's forcing throws badly trying to carry the team. What choice does he have? I'm defintely not a Manning fan, but he's still got the tools, just limited weapons.

I still think something is wrong with him physically.
