With so many personnel decisions on the horizon, including locking up quarterback Peyton Manning for around $100 million, signing running back Joseph Addai seems a longshot after this season for the Colts. Unless a team has a rare running back, it seems the best approach is to use a player for four or five seasons, then reload. Addai has been a very good back for the Colts and I expect him to have a solid season in 2010. But after that, it should be time to turn to Donald Brown and find someone to work as his backup. ...and the Colts will never pay a running back big bux, there oline and passing game is good enough that they dont need a high dollar back.

Even when he's playing well, they don't seem to give him the ball enough. But when you have Peyton Manning, its kind of a non issue.
The only thing a RB in Indy needs to do is to catch the ball, because their o-line can't run block for crap.
