With so many personnel decisions on the horizon, including locking up quarterback Peyton Manning for around $100 million, signing running back Joseph Addai seems a longshot after this season for the Colts. Unless a team has a rare running back, it seems the best approach is to use a player for four or five seasons, then reload. Addai has been a very good back for the Colts and I expect him to have a solid season in 2010. But after that, it should be time to turn to Donald Brown and find someone to work as his backup. That's life in the NFL.

...and the Colts will never pay a running back big bux, there oline and passing game is good enough that they dont need a high dollar back.

Even when he's playing well, they don't seem to give him the ball enough. But when you have Peyton Manning, its kind of a non issue.

The only thing a RB in Indy needs to do is to catch the ball, because their o-line can't run block for crap.
