Coach Chuck Pagano revealed Monday that outside linebacker Bjoern Werner will miss four to six weeks after suffering a torn plantar fascia in his right foot early in Sunday's 37-3 win at the Jacksonville Jaguars. Werner recorded four tackles, one-half sack and one quarterback pressure this season as a pass-rushing specialist behind starter Erik Walden. "(Werner) was getting better every week," Pagano said, via The Indianapolis Star. "He was trending in the right direction. He was getting more comfortable. You could see the confidence level rising. Scheme-wise he wasn't thinking. He was playing faster." Source: NFL.com SteveRobWhatever's Take: Tough break for a kid who was coming into his own.
