Looking to add depth in their secondary, the Indianapolis Colts worked out several free-agent cornerbacks over the past week. The team worked out Michael Lehan, Deltha O'Neal, and Mike McKenzie. Jason David and Jack Ikegwuonu took physicals, but didn't work out. The Colts are looking for depth because of the iffy status of CB Jerraud Powers. Source: Adam Caplan, Colt Power
it won't help......jason david doesn't know gregg william's scheme and seriously....he's jason david lol and even if MM signs he wasn't here long enough to learn it either
the conversation between Jason David and the Colts DC DC: hey Jason so tell me how the D works. JD: Ok first i play a 13 to 18 yard bubble on my receiver. DC: uh huh. JD: Then I back pedal for another 5 yards that way they only get a 3 stride lead on me by the time I start running in coverage. DC: Wait wha.... JD: I then throw off the receiver by looking in the air in the opposite direction the ball is really comming to make him think he's wrong. DC: You're telling me that works? JD: Eh. It's a mixed bag. DC: Hummm ok I think I can see where this is going.... JD: And the I turn to act like I'm making a play on the ball and MOST times the receiver just keeps going and catches the ball for a 35 yard gain. BUT those other times are magical. DC: Jesus how did you ever play for us and we won a superbowl? JD: Two words my friend Rex Grossman. DC: SECURITY!
