Steve12 The night is dark and full of terrors

After each Colts game, wide receiver Reggie Wayne deals with the frustration of another loss, but also if he is lucky catching a pass or two according to Mike Chappell of the Indianapolis Star. Wayne admits he has had to fight the urge to give anyone within earshot an earful, go all Keyshawn Johnson and scream, "Just give me the damn ball!" "The only way I go without snapping (with) the media is every game when I come in, first thing I do is put my helmet and stuff down and grab my phone," Wayne said. "Always got a text message from my wife and it's a picture of my kids." The Jacksonville game was the low point in a miserable season. The 13 yards were Wayne's fewest since he was shut out by Arizona in the final game of the 2005 season, when he and many front-liners saw limited action."There is such a thing as healthy dissatisfaction and there's no question there is some of that," receivers coach Frank Reich said. "It's understandable when the receivers are used to the production they've had over the years. "There's a healthy dissatisfaction but nothing more from Reggie. I would be absolutely concerned if (he wasn't frustrated). That's what you want from someone like him." He's in the final year of his contract, and a down season could lessen the value of his next deal, whether it's with the Colts or another team. "I've got 11 years of proof, so people know what I can do," Wayne said. "But yeah, sometimes you think, 'Damn, are they doing this on purpose?' any of us would be frustrated playing on a winless team but no one on that team is putting up huge numbers, as they are accustomed. For Wayne to say "are they doing this on purpose" is concerning. i hope he would take that back if he could. he has to know that he was very fortunate to be drafted by the colts and have had peyton manning throw him footballs for 10 years.
