Houston has played four different games this season in which it fell behind by at least 14 points, then pulled back even or took a lead, only to lose in the end. In fact, the Texans have not only lost four such games this season -- they’ve done it in a span of five games. The Texans also dropped heart-breakers to the Jaguars, the Jets and the Eagles. The Texans are the only team in NFL history to lose four such games within a single season. “I wish we could put one together a full game,†Brian Cushing said. "It’s just really disappointing with how we have just let those games get away. I was pretty sure we had this one. You can’t start slow out here and we knew that,†left tackle Duane Brown said. “We had to crawl and fight our way back into it. When you get into games like that , it’s tough to come out of it.†While the focus in the comebacks tends to be the offense’s ability to rally, it should also be on the defense’s failures that setup scenarios where comebacks are necessary and then give up points after the Texans get back in it. “You can never let [21-0] happen, especially against a team of that caliber,†Mario Williams said.

and this all falls on coaching. a team that is capable of that much dominance at times is not getting enough wins because they are unorganized, undisciplined, and inconsistent. it is the coaches responsibility to keep a team playing at their highest level as often as possible .................. all the texans coaches can muster is to get the most out of their players for about 10 minutes a game .............
