Found this picture and thought I'd share it. Got it out of an old Saints Magazine from the early 80s.


For those of you who don't know, the adult is Archie Manning, before Bum Phillips traded him to Houston.

Although Eli aint much of one.

The only thing about Eli thats elite anymore is the E, L and I. His arm is done and last year showed what happens when he doesn't have an elite team surrounding him. He's an average at best QB that isn't going to win anything himself.

 

Keep dreaming.

 

I also have some strange memory of that average QB shredding the San Fran defense last season too, weird crap man.

 

Barely 50% Completion, <200 Yds, and a TD /= shredding.

 

Oh crap, that was actually my bad, I just remember the Giants put up like 35 or something points up on them.

 

Alex hecked that game off throwing 3 picks and zero scores.

 

Well its a good thing Alex is not there anymore, isn't it?
