I think you are right. The coaches seem to be high on him. Only drawback I see is his height at 6'4. Used to be they wanted their centers to be around 6'1 or so to have a lower center of gravity.
i'd like to see de la puente back at the right price. doesn't sound like he has received much interest on the market as of yet.
Dlp is your classic feast or famine. At times he looked pretty good. Was that because he was book ended by two pro bowl guards? And at times he looked like the UDFA that he was. I hope they get another center to push either one of them but would like Lelito a chance.
