Nate Haber reports via Twitter that the Dallas Cowboys and safety Akwasi Owusu-Ansah have agreed to terms on a 4-year deal. Owusu-Ansah played for Indiana and was the Cowboys 4th round pick in the 2010 draft. He slid in the draft after undergoing surgery to repair a torn labrum following Combine and pro-day performances.

he was worth the pick but i wouldnt be surprised to see him fall flat on his face in the pros

He's a hot or miss guy, which is why I liked him late in the 4th, and not 2nd or 3rd where some place's had him going

I think he is our SS if he pans out. SS in our system is more like a CB that covers TE's. Very man coverage intensive.

IMO, he is one of 3 Safety's in the draft that could play SS in our system and not be a miserable failure, and the other two were Berry and Thomas

i like him a lot, i wouldnt have minded them take a shot on him in the 3rd....hes not half the small school prospect DRC was (you know he was my boy all along and you were really down on his ability to play right away) but i hope AOA doesnt turn into ricardo coclough 2.0 for you guys cause hes pretty local to me it would be cool for him to be big time

then again the steelers fell in love with cocloughs ceiling in the second round....early second round at that....ugh

IMO in our system SS is a potential superstar position. Alot of manning on TE's means alot of ball thrown at you, which means alot of opportunities to make play (Berry is playing SS in a similar system).

If AOA winds up at SS and hits, he'll hit big
