Cowboys Bench Rookie FB Chris Gronkowski

Discussion in 'Dallas Cowboys' started by BigBlueBruiser, Oct 31, 2010.

  1. A missed block might have cost Cowboys rookie FB Chris Gronkowski his starting job. Gronkowski was inactive for Sunday’s game against the Jaguars, six days after he failed to block Giants LB Michael Boley, who broke Cowboys QB Tony Romo’s collarbone on a hit. Romo could be out 6 to 8 weeks. Gronkowski, who wasn’t listed on the Cowboys’ injury report Friday, has started twice this season. He is the only fullback listed on Dallas’ roster.

Should have kept cricket. But now he's gone and somebody picked up him immediately. So dumb. Releasing a guy who had filled the role of FB just fine for 3 seasons or so and was a good we used a decent draft pick on.

Shouldn't have benched him. Should have cut him!

Tony Romo approves...even if it is a couple weeks too late...
