Offensive coordinator Bill Callahan will continue to select plays, but coach Jason Garrett will be the man relaying those calls to quarterback Tony Romo, ESPN's Ed Werder reported Saturday.

Plays previously had been relayed through quarterbacks coach Wade Wilson, who now will move up to the coaching booth to aid Callahan in reading defensive coverages, according to Werder.

SteveRobWhatever's Take: Dallas fans are hoping the switch in how plays get out to the field doesn't come at the expense at brain farts for Jason Garrett because he's trying to do too much on his own out there (again). Tony Romo better have a good day and the Cowboys better win. If not, things are going to get real ugly for Jason Garrett in Dallas. The former golden boy might be on skid row if they don't get in the playoffs this year.
