The Dallas Cowboys were pleased with the return of defensive end DeMarcus Ware to practice on Wednesday, however wide receiver Dez Bryant missed practice with some stiffness in his back, Calvin Watkins of ESPN Dallas reports.

Team officials don't believe Bryant's injury is serious because he's dealt with this issue in the past.

SteveRobWhatever's Take: The Cowboys aren't worried about Bryant, it seems the injury he's dealing with is minor and his time off is precautionary. Ware has been out for the last three weeks with a thigh injury. The Cowboys need his skill set to help balance the pass rush. Getting him back will be a big bonus for them.

Talk now is Dez has back spasms. On the radio this morning they were talking about how he couldn't even iron his clothes if he wanted to. I can see major back surgery this off season for Dez.

As I said earlier, there may be a disc problem in Dez's back.

According to Mike Fisher this morning, Hatcher has a little feeling back in his arm. As for Dez, he had minimal practice. He did very little, but he was there. No word yet on whether either will play Sunday night against the Saints.
