Cowboys defensive end Tyrone Crawford was carted off the field Sunday with what appeared to be a lower leg injury. The Cowboys were less than an hour into their first practice of training camp when Crawford suffered the injury. As he was carted off, the 2011 third-round pick had his hands over his face in apparent disbelief. Crawford was projected to be one of the team’s top defensive reserves, having versatility to play both end and tackle. Cowboys coaches had predicted the 23-year-old to have a breakout season.
