Cowboys Discussing Draft-Day Trade With The Dolphins?

The Cowboys may be talking with the Miami Dolphins about a possible draft-day trade that would move the Cowboys up to the No. 12 spot in the NFL draft, according to a Miami Dolphins source. The Cowboys rarely move up in the draft, but since the release of safety Ken Hamlin and offensive lineman Flozell Adams, this might be the year Jerry Jones considers a trip up north in the 2010 draft. At pick 12, the possibilities of landing free safety Eric Berry or safety Earl Thomas over someone like Taylor Mays are much more realistic and wide receiver Dez Bryant would likely be available at the No. 12 spot, too.

So An injury prone committee back is worth a 15 spot 1st round trade up.

12th pick (which = Dez Bryant)
Miami's third

Miami gets:

Miles Austin
27th pick
Our third

So......Trade a young, talented WR fresh off a legit Pro Bowl year to move up to get (and I am a Bryant fan) an unproven, less talented (debatable I guess, but odd considering Austin wasnt drafted) player at the same spot.......who's draft stock is plummetting to the point its not completly unrealistic to think he may be there at 27

Edwards had what 3 sacks and 4 TFL. Him, Kennedy and Fat Fat were the ones I seem to remeber the most in our backfield.

 

Before Adams got hurt I was calling for them to replace Marc with Free.

I think Stephen would be able to talk JJ from doing something like that.
