Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman Josh Brent says he's "just trying to deal" with the death of his teammate and "very best friend" Jerry Brown. Brent is charged with intoxication manslaughter in the accident that killed Brown. Brent was released from jail in the Dallas suburb of Irving after posting $500,000 bond Sunday, a day after police say he was drunk and speeding when the vehicle he was driving clipped a curb and flipped. Brent's release came about an hour after the Cowboys secured an emotional 20-19 victory in Cincinnati with a field goal on the final play. Brent was supposed to start the game. The 25-year-old Brown was a member of the Cowboys' practice squad and living with Brent while he pursued his dream of playing in the NFL. Source: CBS Sports

Hey Josh, you know what's the best way to deal with your grief? Go to a bar, get wasted and drive home, you hecker.
I don't know hardly any details of the situation, but I know that one of these guys ended up being in the drivers seat, and the other did not. And that guy is dead because the other one didn't call a cab. So while I think I see where you were going with that (getting in the car with someone hammered behind the wheel), I completely disagree.
Even if he doesn't spend a day in jail or without an NFL paycheck, Brent is gonna get his. Every minute of the rest if his life Sent from my HTC Vivid
A lot of people are throwing a lot of hate at brown...but fact of the matter is his own personal hell will be his torture for the rest of his life. That was his best friend and he killed him because he couldn't spend $20 for a taxi and apparently was speeding probably trying to show off. His friend might be dead, but he is dead inside. The world lost not one but two good men that day. SMH.....
Yeah, other than killing your family i can't think of what could be worse than killing your best friend and having to live with it the rest of your life. I Hate the cowboys, but i hope this kid can somehow find a way to life a long full life and learn to live with this the best way he can cause he'll never get over it regardless!
he didnt need to spend anything. any player can call a # at any time and a driver will pick them up and take them home or whever. brent deserves whatever happens to him
It ain't only sports guys that do this a lot, look at all the actors and actresses that do this dumb crap! wtf ever happened to common sense? celebrities can change, look at how robert downey jr cleaned up his act! Since this is his first offense in the nfl, will he still get suspended over it? He should!
