The Cowboys are working on an injury settlement with fullback Deon Anderson. Anderson, a sixth-round pick in 2007, has battled injuries almost his entire career with the Cowboys. He suffered a knee injury in the season opener at Washington and had to undergo surgery on Sept. 13. He was expected to miss two-to-four weeks. When the Cowboys complete the Anderson settlement it will clear up a roster spot for possibly tight end Scott Chandler who is currently on the practice squad. Source: ESPN
I dont see any reason why the Cowboys wouldn't release this guy. it seems like he hasnt produced into what you think
he could be back this season, they did this to sign a TE that way we wouldnt have to bring Spears into the game on offense anymore, said they hated doing that. Plus deon is out 2-4 weeks i believe.
