The Cowboys are the first American sports franchise to be appraised at more than $2 billion. Forbes Magazine priced the Cowboys at $2.1 billion, 14 percent higher than the previous valuation, Rainer Sabin of the Dallas Morning News reports. Only English soccer club Manchester United, listed at $2.24 billion, is worth more. But don’t think Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is planning to sell his cash cow now or ever. “I have always thought that it was tribute to the Cowboys and our fans and the visibility,†Jones said after Dallas’ 24-17 victory over the New York Giants. “I know it doesn’t make one more first down for you. It is really I think a plus for the franchise to be thought of that highly. We all know that no one ever knows until you see something sold with the market and I’m fortunate to say that won’t ever be the case with me or the family, so we’ll never know what it’s worth.†Source: The Redzone
Just fade into the background Jerry...like every other good owner and let the people that know football do their work...
i didnt post in the gameday thread but did anyone else notice when the cameras were on the jones the one time the guy sitting behind jerrah who cleaned his glasses for him ? really dude ? you have a guy who cleans your glasses ?
I usually ask my wife to clean my glasses and I'm barely a hundredaire. I don't think that's too insane. It's all the other over the top crap that has been reported about this heck that I think is goobered. And he's the next Al Davis. He'll run this team until the day he dies.
Corrected. And Scheftler reported that it was his son-in-law that wiped his glasses...talk about whipped.
