Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray said in May that he was already back to going 100 percent after having his fractured right ankle surgically-repaired in December. During a chat on ESPN.com, Murray reiterated that his ankle will not limit him when training camp begins in less than a month, Jon Machota of the Dallas Morning News reports. “The ankle is doing great,†Murray wrote. “I’ll be able to do whatever the coaches want me to do.†Murray rushed for 897 yards and two touchdowns before having his season ended because of the ankle injury that was suffered in a loss to the Giants on December 11. “We have no control over injuries. It’s all a part of God’s plan. If everyone can stay healthy, we can have a good team. We have some playmakers on the offensive side of the ball to go with Rob Ryan’s great defense.†Source: The Redzone
IF he can stay healthy all season. That was the knock on him coming out of OU. He always seemed to be dinged up.
Cowboys taking a big risk with DeMarco Murray | ProFootballTalk Not a good track record. All before he stepped foot in the NFL.
If I'm not mistaken he didn't miss any games or it was like 4 in 2 seasons his last2 yrs in school at ou Last yr I blame on short training camps Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
he was a lot smaller at OU, he was more like a 200 pound felix jones in college but turned into a 230 pound man beast in the pros. he looks way more capable of staying healthy
One of the reason he went in the 3rd and not higher is because no one knew if he would be able to play at 230 Sent from my HTC Vivid
If he can stay healthy all year he will light it up. I think his jersey will be the next one I buy to add to my collection.
