Felix Jones’ future with the Dallas Cowboys has been the subject of much debate this summer, but not to owner/general manager Jerry Jones. “That’s a ridiculous thought,†the owner told KRLD-FM in Dallas/Fort Worth when asked about Jones’ roster security. “I’m not worried about him at all. From what I’ve seen out there, he’s got a chance to have a big year for us.†Jones failed his conditioning test at the beginning of training camp, leading to speculation about his status with the team. Jones did acknowledge that the running back, entering his fifth season, was trying to drop weight in the days leading up to the test. Jones was the 22nd overall pick in the 2008 NFL Draft and has provided Dallas with a change-of-pace back when healthy. But Jones has yet to rush for over 1,000 yards, has played a full season of games just once and has missed 16 over the first four years of his career.

    Let's see..

Contract year, came to camp out of shape and didn't pass conditioning test, and hasn't looked that good in preseason.. I think Jerry needs to STFU and let Garrett do what is best for the team. And by the looks of it, Felix needs to shape up or ship out.
