Everyone would love for Felix Jones to become the full-time starter, but after watching Sunday's game vs. Minnesota, we see why the Cowboys want Marion Barber to remain No. 1 on the depth chart. Barber converted all five of his third-and-fourth and one plays. On the day, Barber gained five first down runs, though they were all short. Jones' longest runs were two six yarders and also became a force in the short passing game. In the loss, Jones needed a IV and was puking at halftime. Jones wasn't sick, but was being used so much he was wearing down some. Source: ESPN Dallas
its bc they havent gotten him used to playing a whole game.....and this goes agian to show lack of discipline that the team/players have in that they are not ready or didnt get ready and are not conditioned properly............
funny, during the game fox reported that felix was feeling ill and was the only player who had went into the locker room before half. but he wasnt sick? .. nice.
Jones and Barber combined are out rushed by ahmad bradshaw. My point is that offensive line cant sustain a running game. Running and netting 3.3.5 yards a carry means a I high work load that I don't think they can handle.
